Wicca is a fairly new religion that is founded on "earth-based" spirituality and originally purported to be the reestablishment of an ancient, pagan religion and folk culture. In some respects it is, in that it draws on preChristian Celtic and Druidic traditions and myth celebrating the rise of the year within which are milestones fundamental to agrarian life. In its fright, it more to the point drew on romanticism about what European witchcraft was about and more to the point on loan a lot from Thelema-a form of ceremony magic-and from Freemasonry.

Like we receive magick was an inherent part of ancient/pagan religion and in fact more to the point was part of effective paths within medieval Christianity and Judaism. Medieval Solid and occult Christianity evolved here ceremony magic but it all in all lost its Christian influences now the occult rise of the very late 19th/early 20th century. Adherence magic is disdainful about spiritual awaken than "magic," btw. Post-modern magic/sorcery, on the other hand, is full of results-based test about causing redraft in accordance with confer on. But these clothes aren't exact to be "pagan" or Wiccan.

Some moderrn paganism is self-righteously "earnest" and seeks to re-erect ancient pagan paths. Some is new, eclectic and syncretic. Some forms of paganism hold close magic in the form of spell work and prediction. The magic is more often than not for healing, wish-fulfilment, banishing, or protection. Wiccans hug a best code about not pleasant in playful or coercive magic, but other traditions do not repeatedly distribute these morality. As far as consorting with demonic entities or passing "black magic," this above all is not a part of paganism, Wicca, or traditional European witchcraft. It is called "goetia" and was strangely enough a part of medieval ceremony magic, whose practitioners evenly happened to be favorably cultured men who belonged to the Christian clergy.

Witchcraft-as in spell craft or folk superstition -is maxim that-the magic and folkways of folk type. Sometimes European shamanism or traditions coupled to women's mysteries in ancient pagan religions that carried higher here medieval times were more to the point labeled as "witchcraft."

It has become popular/fashionable in some magic circles-not pagan or Wicca groups-to society Satanism or Luciferianism. Some of these groups hug very sophisticated philosophy and don't repeatedly interpret their beliefs as existence diabolical. Some followers of these groups dramatic piece in practices coupled to ceremony magic or post modern sorcery. I don't know if this is what you mean by "Luciferian witchcraft."

As for diabolic witchcraft, it has been a characteristic thing-with psychopathic type acting out fantasies about what they thing witchcraft is.
